Crimson Sparrow - "Escape"

May 29, 2014  •  Leave a Comment

This was a sort of personal project - a self-portrait if you will...  I had been sitting on the idea for a few weeks now, not making the time for it, and really thinking about different ways on putting this image together.  I finally made the time, and I decided to keep it fairly simple to really let the message show through without too much of a distraction.

It took a total of 5 photographs to compile this one image.

I first drew out the quick concept on a scratch sheet of paper as you can tell by the blue lines on this notebook paper.

It took a camera, a tripod, one light, and most importantly the vision.  Plus an hour and a half of manipulations and alterations.

How do you interpret this image?

I would love to hear your thoughts - leave a message below, or through Facebook

I would like to thank my wife for the continued love and support, and for allowing me the time to complete this project without judgement.

Enjoy!
